Simone Mohrs is a Digital Health Manager at MedTech Europe since January 2022. She is mainly responsible for the association's work on Artificial Intelligence and the digital health ecosystem. She leads the Artificial Intelligence Act file and issues such as digital health skills and trust.
Before joining MedTech Europe, Simone worked at HOSPEEM, the European Hospital and Healthcare Employer's Association, where she was in leading the negotiation with the European Public Service Trade Union in the healthcare and hospital sector, successfully running multiple EU-funded projects and Work Programme negotiations.
She also worked at the Association of the European Self-Medication Industry in Brussels, and at the public affairs consultancy Burson-Marsteller in Berlin and at ReAct, a global network dedicated to the problem of antibiotic resistance.
Simone holds a Bachelor's degree in European Public Health from Maastricht University, the Netherlands and a Master's degree in International Health from Uppsala University, Sweden.
