Zena Prodromou is a Senior Associate in the Brussels office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP and an affiliated member of the Institute for European Law at the KU Leuven.
She specializes in international and European law. She has acted before the General Court of the EU, the European Commission as well as national competition authorities. She has participated in investment and commercial arbitrations pursuant to the ICSID, CEPANI and ICC rules respectively and has also acted as secretary to a number of cases before the Court of Arbitration for Sports.
Her monograph on “The Public order exception in international trade, investment, human rights and commercial disputes” was published by Kluwer International in 2020.
She is member of the Brussels and Thessaloniki Bar Associations and she is included in the arbitrators’ rosters held by various international institutions.
She graduated with honors from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the University of Cambridge and Harvard Law School. In 2019, she received her doctorate from the University of Basel.
She regularly contributes chapters to collective publications and leading textbooks and her articles have been featured in various law reviews and journals.
I am regularly invited to give lectures, seminars and professional trainings on a number of topics related to EU and international law.
