Valeria Scuto recently joined Sibylline Ltd. as an embedded Intelligence Analyst. She is also an Editorial Board Member for the International Counter-Terrorism Review (ICTR) and is supporting as a Project Manager, NextGen 5.0, a virtual think-tank committed to inspiring and empowering the next generation of peace and security leaders. Valeria spent a year at NATO SHAPE, focusing on the politico-military outputs of defence policy and planning. Her duties further included the preparation of briefs and reports on hybrid threats, weapons systems, arms control, cyber defence and counter-terrorism. Her prior professional experiences include work on gender equality, countering hate speech, and media development at the UNESCO National Office for Palestine and on diplomatic consulting projects in the MENA region at Independent Diplomat. Valeria completed with Distinction an MSc in Conflict Studies at the LSE with a specialisation in international security, counter-terrorism and armed groups, and with a regional focus on the Mediterranean. She also holds a BA in Political Science from LUISS University in Rome.
