Tanvi Jaluka is the Gender and Development Program Coordinator at the Center for Global Development. Her expertise lies in women’s economic empowerment, with a specific research focus in financial inclusion and entrepreneurship. She also has conducted research on the intersections of gender and conflict, and field work in South Asia on social enterprises. Previously, Jaluka spent time in the Netherlands working with the Center for Frugal Innovations in Africa to conduct research on women’s business in sub-Saharan Africa. She also has a background in social justice activism during her time as a Program Coordinator at the Vassar College Women’s Center. Jaluka earned her BA in International Studies and Economics from Vassar College.
