Katarzyna holds a PhD in Applied Social Sciences and has scientific and policy-driven research experience in research and innovation, digital policies and gender policies.
Currently working on R&I strategy in the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation.
Previously worked as a Team Leader of a team of R&I Policy Analyst in the European Commission Joint Research Centre. Prior to that, Katarzyna represented in Brussels the spin off of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, worked as a researcher and policy advisor in a boutique consultancy Tech4i2 (UK), as a communication consultant in a Brussels-based communication agency, as a project manager in a management consultancy in Warsaw and taught sociology and methodology for the social sciences at the University of Warsaw.
She moonlights as a feminist activist sitting on the Management Board of Elles sans Frontières NGO that organises an annual conference on women's rights in Brussels and fosters synergies between Polish, Belgian and European women's rights organisations.
