Currently I work with the European Commission in the Directorate General for Energy as Head of Unit for new energy technologies, being responsible for the development of the policy and actions on non-nuclear energy research and innovation.
My studies are the field of mechanical engineering and business administration in Bucharest, Romania and I have as well a Master of Science in International Economics from H.E.C. Montreal, Canada. Prior to joining the European Commission, I worked for public administration in Romania and Canada, in the field of economic development and international trade policies and actions.
During the last years I was on the agenda of different conferences, seminars, events, mainly on the topics related to the European energy system transformation, energy research and innovation policy (Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan, smart grids and energy storage, smart cities and communities.
