I head the team that shapes European Civil Protection - disaster management policy. My wider professional interests include evidence for policy-making, volunteer management, system change and how organisations learn. In 2015-16 I was seconded as the EU Fellow at the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts University. I like challenging, interactive and participatory conversations framed by powerful questions.
