Stefania Benaglia is an expert on EU Foreign and Security Policy, with specialization on EU-India relations, and on Public Diplomacy. In 2019 she has been awarded as Top 40 Under 40 EU India Leader. Based in Brussels, she is a Senior Expert in the Public Diplomacy Project of the European Union Delegation to India and is India Associate fellow at Center for European Policy Studies (CEPS) and at Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI). Between 2014 – 2017 she moved to Delhi, working on EU-India defence cooperation. She previously worked for the EU, NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, and the International Institute of Counter-Terrorism in Israel. Stefania holds a MA in strategic studies from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University, a MA in International Development from the University of Pavia and a BA from University of Bologna.
