Project Officer for SEE, Agora Energiewende
Sonja Risteska is the Project Officer for Southeast Europe in Agora Energiewende in Berlin, Germany working on two projects called South East Europe Energy Transition Dialogue and Western Balkans Energy Transition Dialogue (WeBET Dialogue). Before coming to Agora in 2018, she was the Research and Management Coordinator in Analytica think tank from Skopje Macedonia. She has relevant working experience and has conducted in-depth policy research on many pressing energy and environmental matters in Macedonia and the region of South East Europe. Sonja Risteska has authored, co-authored and contributed to more than 30 policy papers, briefs, studies etc. on energy and environmental topics. She holds a BA in Political Science and MA in European Studies.
Extensive 9 year experience working on energy sector reforms in Southeast Europe. Participated in and organised number of events.
