Sóley Tómasdóttir is the founder of JUST consulting, where she gives advise and training on gender, diversity and inclusive organizational culture.
Her expertise is based on a combination of political experience, public debates and academic knowledge. She served for 10 years as a city councillor in Reykjavík with special focus on gender and human rights, where she initiated many successful projects in cooperation with national authorities, organizations and individual citizens, e.g. Bjarkarhlíð, a centre for survivors of violence (2017); the first human rights policy of Reykjavík (2006); and a year long celebration of the 100-year anniversary (2015) of women’s suffrage.
Sóley holds an MSc degree in pedagogy, gender and diversity from Radboud University.
