Political Economist, Editorial Contributor, Event Moderator/Speaker, and Policy Consultant focused on the region of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). I believe in an integrated approach to analysis at the junction of economics, politics, and geopolitics. I currently cover the economic repercussions of Russia’s war in Ukraine: cost-of-living crises, EU energy policy, and Europe’s fiscal and monetary policies.

I am trained as a macroeconomist and have indulged my interest in the CEE-regional economy as a part of leading international teams at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, and Paris-based Organization for Economic Co-operation & Development (OECD), where I led Slovakia's Presidency over the Ministerial Council Meeting in a role of a lead adviser.

Currently, I advise on strategic foreign policy/economic diplomacy issues to the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Secretary of State, and contribute CEE-focused economic analyses to The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and Oxford Analytica.
