Sabrine Dao is a multilingual political scientist and human rights lawyer. She works on Track II Diplomacy, philanthropy and strategic engagement at the German Marshall Fund of the United States and is also a Research Analyst in security and intelligence at the Africa Center for Strategic Progress based in Washington D.C. and Nairobi. Her background lies in international security, peacebuilding and peacekeeping, global diplomacy, and international human rights law. During past professional experiences, Sabrine has carried out field work in West Africa, the Middle East and South East Asia.

Sabrine is also a member of the Steering Committee of WIIS (Women In International Security) Brussels since 2019. Shortly after joining, she took the initiative to develop and co-found WIIS Campus, the Academia-focused program of WIIS Brussels.

Thanks to her extensive production background, she has produced episodes featured on the WIIS Brussels Voices and the WIIS Campus podcast channels. In 2022, she has produces her podcast channel called Popping the EU Bubbles which discusses the challenges and opportunities for more inclusion in the EU bubbles for professionals with diverse backgrounds.
