Rut Einarsdottir has a BBA in innovation and economics at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan and is currently obtaining a MSc in Violence Conflict and Development at SOAS, University of London. She has vast experience in disarmament affairs and peacebuilding, with a focus on youth and women.

She is a former youth delegate at the European Council’s Congress of Local and Regional Authorities and a member of the Advisory Council of Youth to the Council og Europe.
