Educated as international security specialist (MA) from Columbia University (SIPA) in NYC, USA with concentration in international media and communications I have over 20 years of professional experience as public information/outreach specialist, videographer/producer, advocate and monitor of Sustainable Development Goals’ (SDGs) implementation, information analyst/researcher, knowledge manager, trainer and education administrator, project coordinator/program manager, development/electoral programs officer. I worked with UN peacekeeping missions in Liberia (UNMIL) and Timor Leste (UNMIT), WFP (Liberia), UNDP (Brussels, Turkmenistan), UNODC, UNOSSC trust funds, UN-Habitat; served on missions to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Mozambique, Pakistan, Tanzania, Ukraine. My responsibilities included humanitarian/technical assistance, human rights monitoring, development cooperation/partnerships, best-practice database & results-based knowledge management, coordination of needs assessments missions (incl. for donors), analysis, reporting and desk review of documents/policies, public information and multimedia projects, outreach/communication campaigns. I also worked at senior management positions as Executive Director of Lithuanian NGDO platform and Director of International Relations Department at Kaunas University of Technology. Besides ability to manage big projects and teams, I am skilled in information collection, interviewing, filtering, analysis, visualising and drafting to provide detailed assessment and profiling of situation, ‘transliterate’ for diverse audiences, including through multimedia and social media
