Rebecca Christie is a Visiting Fellow at Bruegel, the independent Brussels-based think tank. She worked in daily journalism for 22 years, including stints at Bloomberg News, Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal, and the Financial Times. She has been an expert adviser on taxation to the European Economic and Social Committee. Most recently, she was the lead author on the European Stability Mechanism's institutional history, "Safeguarding the Euro in Times of Crisis: the Inside Story of the ESM".
