Rachele Ciavarella, a lawyer by training, currently works as associate consultant in APCO Worldwide's Brussels office, where she is part of the technology practice.
Rachele specializes in developing and implementing advocacy campaigns and the use of broader communications tactics to support public policy goals.
In policy terms, she works mainly on data protection, cybersecurity, copyright and broader Digital Single Market issues.
Prior to joining APCO, she gained experience in the "Freedom in the Information Society" Unit of the Research Centre in Information, Law and Society and as Blue Book Trainee at DG Connect, where she was involved in legal analysis on digital advertising, data protection and cybersecurity dossiers.
Rachele holds a Master Degree in Law from the University of Genoa (Italy) and a LL.M. in IT Law from the University of Namur (Belgium). A native Italian speaker, Ms. Ciavarella is also fluent in English and French.
