Nikita is a social and employment policy expert with 7 years of experience in EU advocacy. She has a strong background in designing research projects for advocacy and has led many such projects to deliver real political impact.

Before joining FEPS in June 2022, she spent a year at Eurocities, where she coordinated a mutual learning programme between over 100 cities on employment and skills. From 2018 to 2021, she worked as Senior Policy Officer at the European Youth Forum, where she led the organisation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. There she also developed an expertise on the future of work and its impact on social and economic rights, and has authored a report on the topic.

Before 2018, she worked on development and humanitarian policy for the Norwegian Refugee Council and Save the Children. She has also worked for Making the Leap, a London-based charity, where she assisted in the running of employability programmes for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Nikita holds a BA in Development Studies from the University of Sussex and an MA in Peacebuilding from the University of Manchester.
