Dr. Nad’a Kovalcikova is a Senior Analyst for Transnational Security at the EUISS. Previously, she was a program manager and fellow at the Alliance for Securing Democracy in GMF's Brussels office. She is leading European outreach, and focuses also on transatlantic cooperation, NATO, EU – U.S. relations and emerging security challenges, incl. disinformation operations and ways to counter them. She analyses Russia’s and China’s influence in Europe, especially various tools and tactics that weaken democracy. She represents the organization at various conferences, fora and workshops.
Nad’a Kovalcikova obtained her PhD. in international relations with a focus on security threats, and masters’ degrees in politics and government, European affairs and international economic relations.
