Martina Neuwirth works on development policy issues since more than 20 years, having a focus on development finance. Starting as the coordinator of two successful Austrian wide campaigns on debt relief for developing countries, she worked as a parliamentary advisor for the Greens until 2011, being responsible for foreign affairs, development and globalisation. Since 2011, she is a VIDC senior expert on international economy and finance, focusing on international tax issues. From 2013 to 2015, she was co-representative of Tax Justice Europe, a European NGO network, in the Global Alliance for Tax Justice.
