Marta Checa is an editor for the Spanish section of Equal Times. A multimedia journalist, she has worked as a correspondent for the EFE news agency in Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau. She started her career as a journalist in Brussels in 1998, working with various media and production companies and co-founding a local magazine.
