I have a PhD in international economics and urban development. I've been working for more than 10years for local and regional governments. I started as policy officer on decentralised cooperation and research & innovation for a regional office in  Brussels. Then I worked for CEMR on cohesion policy, urban development, urban agenda for the EU, local finances, global urban agenda & SDGs. Following this, I worked as Director of PLATFORMA, a pan-European coalition of local & regional governments and their associations active globally, led by CEMR.  Last year I led a process of change management in the organisation, and have been appointed Director of Operations for the overall CEMR since September 2020. The aim: work cross team, define a multiannual work programme and lead our work on policy & advocacy in all the domains related to local and regional governments ' competences
