Criminologist (PhD) actively engaged in the field of terrorism studies, CT and CVE, radicalization, social unrest and racist/far right extremist violence, with special interest about gender. Doctoral thesis about suicide operations and women perpetrators during the second Intifada. Postdoctoral studies- about Internet incitement to terrorism and European/Greek legislation. Holds a Master in History, Philosophy &Sociology of Law. Member of ITSTIME Research Team for Security, Terroristic Issues& Managing Emergencies (Catholic University of Milan), EENet and RAN Expert Pool/RAN editorial. Currently researching the radicalization of women in extremist violence as well as the globalization of terror operational methodologies and the challenges posed for counter terrorism, with special focus in the relevant situational prevention measures. Teaching and lecturing experience among others: Greek Police Officers Academy, Greek National Security School & Greek National Defense School, Greek Fire Brigade Academy, Greek Military Cadet School. Practicing Supreme Court Defense Lawyer- Legal Bar Association of Thessaloniki-Greece and Mediator recognized by the Greek Ministry of Justice.
