Dr. Marcelle A. Laliberté serves as the inaugural Chief Diversity Officer at HEC Paris, a prestigious international business school in France. With a Doctorate in Education from the University of Pennsylvania (USA), her research centers on governance reforms in university leadership, women's visibility in STEM fields, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in multicultural and multigenerational contexts. Her extensive managerial experience spans various industries, including the military, banking, and government.

Joining HEC Paris in 2013, Dr. Laliberté held roles such as Head of Academic Affairs and Dean of Students, overseeing academic programs for 3,000 students and a Student Affairs function for 4,500 students. She also co-chairs the Diversity Committee, launched in 2019, before committing to her current position full-time in 2021.

A dedicated volunteer, Dr. Laliberté works with nonprofit organizations like Women in Aerospace (Europe) and Women in Governance (North America). As a speaker at conferences, she addresses the intersection of DEI with various research and industry facets, such as gender equality at the Women's Forum and recruitment and retention issues with HR specialists. Her current research interests include diversity in the aerospace industry and women's leadership.
