Having studied economics, political science, and Italian in my undergraduate studies, I went on to law school with a focus in financial and securities law. While in undergrad, I was able to live, work, and study in Italy twice. And while in law school, I lived and worked in Uganda for a summer, and traveled to Fiji and Thailand for humanitarian projects. After graduating and passing the bar, I was awarded the Presidential Management Fellowship, where I split my two years between the Small Business Administration, working as a counsel and policy analyst in the Office of Capital Access, and the House of Representatives Committee on Small Business, working as a counsel. Upon completion of my fellowship, I joined a think tank called the American Action Forum where I direct our financial services and housing portfolios. On the side, in 2016, I started a group called Republican Women for Hillary, and we ended up speaking at the Democratic National Convention just before Hillary Clinton's speech. After the election, we regrouped and incorporated as a nonprofit called Republican Women for Progress. We are working to empower and encourage women to be more involved in politics and policy in the hopes of having more women in leadership positions across the country.
