International affairs professional with 10 years of experience in Benelux and Norway, mostly for the European Commission.
Experienced data protection and privacy advisor, she´s now adventuring in the fields of compliance and internal controls for a major European provider of financial services.
She is also specializing in IP and ICT Law at KU Leuven, and researching in the field of legal compliance in advanced analytical systems in the age of quantum computing. The algorithmic society we are becoming and our future and role in the near future are one of the subjects that passionate her.
Digital ethics and bioethics are one of her personal areas of interest and expertise, and she´s been a guest speaker in Lithuania and Norway to an audience of practitioners in medicine, pharma and computer science.
She is focused on concurrently working and building her skills through the entire domain of cyber security and how it impacts data and society at large.
She is curious to go one step forward in cryptography, cyberwarfare and cyberterrorism.
As an activist in the domain of net neutrality, she wishes to make a difference and to help shape the communication, regulatory and legal frameworks by which the globe, Europe and our society adopts and reacts to the emergent data challenges coming with new technologies.
