Lucie Parker is International Crisis Group’s Gender Analyst, training and supporting staff across Crisis Group's programmes in implementing a gender sensitive methodology into all report planning, field research and policy development.
Prior to joining Crisis Group, Lucie worked for the Fawcett Society, the UK’s leading gender equality organisation, building and overseeing research projects aimed at boosting the political, economic and social inclusion of women and girls from disadvantaged communities in the UK. She also advised governments and technology companies on solutions for tackling online gender-based violence. Prior to that, she managed international gender and education research projects for the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, a global counter-extremism think tank that closely advises governments.
Lucie is a Trustee for Bread & Roses, a charity florist tackling the social and financial isolation experienced by women from refugee backgrounds in the UK. She holds an advanced Master's degree from the Department of War Studies, King’s College London, and a degree in politics from the University of York.
