I studied law at the University of Freiburg (Germany) and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain). After finishing my studies, I successfully pursued a PhD degree in law at the University of Bremen (Germany), looking at legal frameworks for coastal adaptation to rising sea levels and taking Germany and New Zealand as examples. During this time I spend a ten month research stay at the University of Waikato (New Zealand).
In November 2021, I passed the German bar exam (2. juristisches Staatsexamen) and am thus a fully qualified lawyer in my home country.
Currently, I am broadening my horizon with a traineeship at the European Commission.
