I was born in the USA, grew up in New Zealand and India and moved to Germany when I was 16. While studying Anthropology in Germany, Brazil and England, I began to be interested in intersectional theories that are critical of a heteronormative, white, nuclear-family based perspective of society. As a white cis heterosexual woman who moved to Germany as the daughter of a university professor, my experience in Germany is characterized by privileges which I reflect upon on a regular basis.
I support public administrations and government corporations at the management level, but also across hierarchical levels in the development and implementation of strategic change processes, regard to gender, diversity and participative progresses in an on- and offline setting. I use agile methods and participative approaches to develop a better understanding of challenges and co-create solutions.
Due to my experience in advising public administrations, I am practiced in the moderation of small and large groups in different contexts, as well as in dealing with possible conflicting goals that can arise in the field of tension between political actors - administration - citizens.
