Katy is Policy Officer for Economic Transition and Gender Equality for the European Environmental Bureau (EEB). She is also leading the Economic Transition Cluster of the EEB. She completed a Master of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Science in Lund, Sweden. Previously, she has been working for different renewable energy development projects in West and East Africa and as technical consultant for a social impact consulting firm in Berlin, Germany. She has also been investigating gendered impacts of environmental policies in the Global South and Europe, publishing scientific articles on that nexus. Coming from Germany she speaks German, English, a little bit of Swedish and is working on her French and Dutch.
