I am a feminist video creator, blogger, activist and facilitator from Ireland. My passion is “everyday sexism” - the seemingly trivial things that happen to both women and men every day that reinforce gender stereotypes and fuel the fire that is sexism. It is our lived experience everyday and yet I find it is one of the hardest things to change as it is our "normal." My goal is for women to be able to walk down the street at night and not be afraid. I am passionate about teaching others about gender inequality through friendly and approachable means.
I have a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in law and economics from Utrecht University with my thesis focusing on the adherence to European directives calling for more equality in the workplace. I have worked in the European Parliament and social enterprises focusing on instilling confidence and self-esteem in young girls as well as various volunteer positions fighting for women’s rights.
