Laura Gelhaus is a Politics and International Relations PhD-student at the University of Warwick and the Université de Genève. Currently she is based in Brussels as a visiting researcher at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and seconded to the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Her work focuses on how rural development aspects of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy are governed outside the EU, specifically in Georgia. Hereby, she focuses on two instruments: geographical indications and the European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development.
