I joined T&E in April 2013 after two years working as a parliamentary assistant in the European Parliament. I manage the energy campaigns of T&E and I focus on making European fuels policy more sustainable, moving away from oil towards better advanced alternatives, especially renewable electricity, and phasing out the support to land-based biofuels. I have worked extensively on campaigns around the Renewable Energy Directive and the Fuel Quality Directive, as well as the EU delegated act that labelled palm oil diesel unsustainable.
During my time in the parliament, I worked on different files of the environment committee, with a focus on biodiversity issues, and followed closely the work of the petitions committee.
I hold a Master's degree in public administration from the Institute of Political Studies in Strasbourg and a Master's degree in Environmental law from the University of Strasbourg.
Over the last 5 years, I have been participating as speaker and panelist in several events in Brussels and abroad.
Recent experiences include the following events:
Oslo Tropical Forest Forum, A burning issue - Address the threat of biofuels as a driver of deforestation, June 2018. Organized by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation.
What delivering the Paris Agreement means for Europe, June 2018. Organized by the European Climate Foundation.
The role of low carbon fuels in decarbonising transport, April 2018. Organized by the European Commission.
