Laia Plaza-Hernández (She/Her) is graduated in Psychology and Anthropology for the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She also holds a Master degree in "International Cooperation" and another in "Gender studies" from the University of Barcelona. She worked for 10 years as a Psychologist for a service aimed at People Who Use Drugs (PWUD). Since then, she has developed an extensive experience working for different organisations as a coordinator, consultant and/or researcher of Gender Programmes at the national, regional and international level. She has focused on the areas of sexualised violence and nightlife environments; gender, gender-based violence and drug use; sexual and reproductive health and rights; gender mainstreaming through Equity and Diversity Plans and Protocols; and gender and diversity advocacy. Mainly on projects based in Europe, North and West Africa and Latin America from a gender/feminist, intersectional and human rights approach. She has developed part of this experience at Fundación Salud y Comunidad (www.fsy.org ) / Noctambul@s Observatory ( https://www.drogasgenero.info/noctambulas/ ), organisation she currently works for as a Gender expert in the context of international programmes.
