Dr. Katrin Böttger is Director at Institut für Europäische Politik, Berlin. Her research fields include the European Neighbourhood Policy/Eastern Partnership, EU Enlargement, EU-Central Asia Relations, Citizen’s Participation, Euroscepticism and the German European Policy. Katrin Böttger is the Head of the Project “The European Union and Russia in Eastern Europe and the Southern Caucasus: Integration rivalry between East and West?” funded by the Otto Wolff-Stiftung and the Network and Policy Advice Coordinator of the Horizon-2020 Project “SEnECA – Strengthening and Energizing EU-Central Asia Relations“ funded by the European Commission. She holds several honorary board memberships including the European Community Studies Association Germany, the European Movement Germany, the Trans European Policy Studies Association and the Centre international de formation européene, where she also teaches.
