I have a legal background and specialise in EU law and policies. I currently lead Hanbury Strategy's EU digital policy team. Before I worked for a trade association representing software developers, covering policies and legislation affecting the tech sector in the EU and UK. I also served as legal advisor and Internal Market attache at the Permanent Representation of Romania to the EU, managing matters related to the Single Market, Better Regulation, and horizontal legal issues. During the Romanian Presidency of the Council I led negotiations on platform regulation. Before coming to Brussels, I spent over ten years in European affairs within the Romanian Government coordinating, inter alia, the process of transposition and implementation of EU legislation at national level.
