Prof Tzoulaki is a population health scientist with extensive expertise in molecular epidemiology and track record on precision medicine and prediction models. She has led large consortia funded by the EC and US NIH as PI and contributes as expert and advisor in several organisms including the European Food and Safety Authority. She has over 180 scientific publications and >23,700 citations (H index=73) and is a Web of Science 2020 Highly Cited Researcher. For her scientific contributions, she has received the L’Oreal-UNESCO award for women in science (2019).
