Jo is a highly experienced sustainability diplomat and strategic communication advisor, adept at moderating high-level policy debates on climate and sustainability topics, facilitating strategic discussions, retreats and designing coalitions for good.

Jo advises business, NGO and European Commission clients on advocacy and strategic communication as founder and CEO of Conscience Consulting, a boutique consultancy based in Brussels.

In 2021 Jo moderated the EC Farm to Fork Conference, facilitated a new narrative for CAN- Europe, moderated IEEP’s food policy event, and facilitated the UNHCR-EU retreat.

In 2021 Jo was nominated Professor of Climate Diplomacy at CIFE, the European Institute in Nice, France, teaching Master Students on Coalitions for Good. This follows 2 years as course leader of Strategic Communication for Executive Masters at IHECS, the Brussels Communication School.

In 2020 Jo founded the EU Coalition for Radical Decarbonisation of Materials with NGO and business partners.

In 2020 Jo co-founded Think.Act.Change, to build bridges between activists in business, institutions and cvil society, with a network of 1000+.

In 2016 Jo co-founded News and Views, an EU-NGO movement with 500+ members.

In 2014 Jo published 'Creating Employee Champions: how to drive sustainability engagement'. Jo regularly talks to business audiences on sustainability engagement.
