Jana Titievskaia is a Policy Analyst for international trade at the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS), the in-house think tank of the EP. She regularly publishes on EU trade relations (including with the US, Canada and Mexico) and provides confidential analyses of trade policy to MEPs.
Prior to joining the European Parliament, Jana worked on EU trade with Russia, CIS, EFTA and Turkey at the European Commission (DG TRADE) and evidence-based policy analysis at the European Economic and Social Committee. She also worked for the Support Group for Ukraine of the European Commission (DG NEAR) advising on reforms in the area of trade. Jana graduated from the London School of Economics and studied WTO law in Bern and Barcelona.
Trained moderator and public speaker on international trade and investment policy, including as a panellist at The Economist breakfast briefing on EU-US trade relations; panellist at the evidence-based policymaking seminar at the EESC and as a contributor at the European Parliament's policy hub events.
