Since joining the International Crisis Group as Director of Research in August 2014​,​ Isabelle ​Arradon has been overseeing the production of the monthly early warning bulletin CrisisWatch that tracks over 70 situations of conflict and potential conflict worldwide. As part of her role, she is responsible for preparation of the organisation’s strategic plans​​ and Crisis Group's work on ​Gender​, Peace and Security​.

Prior to this, Isabelle Arradon worked for over ten years at the International Secretariat of Amnesty International where she was involved in numerous research, advocacy and capacity-building initiatives on policing, gender-based violence, freedom of expression, displacement and the rule of law - especially in Southeast Asia but also in other regions such as North and West Africa. In the early 2000s, she was based in Indonesia - including in Banda Aceh during the armed conflict where she worked for Peace Brigades International. She holds an MA in International Law and Politics from the University of Hull, United Kingdom, and graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences-Po) in Bordeaux, France.
