Heini Lehtinen is a Helsinki-based creative director, design thinker, concept designer and writer focused on strategic design.
With ability to create strategies and concepts that reach to the future, she builds bridges, connects the dots and approaches issues such as well-being and built environments from multidisciplinary perspective. She works on topics such as spatial health and architecture for peace-building.
Prior to her recent work for the national architectural policy programme in Finland, Lehtinen has worked as an editor-in-chief and founder of online publications and networks related to societal design, such as Fictional Journal and Fictional Collective. She is co-editor of the book 'Studio Time: Future Thinking in Art and Design' (UK 2018). Her writings has been published in various magazines, online publications and catalogues internationally.
She holds a Master of Design degree in Social Design from the prestigious Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
