I am a multinational multicultural communications professional with 15 years of experience in strategic communications executing campaigns and supporting public affairs. Before joining FleishmanHillard, I consulted for the EU Institutions and worked for two trade associations in agriculture and nonwovens respectively. I am an experienced writer with basic graphic design skills, and as a former video journalist, I covered development policy and EU funded international development cooperation projects for a European Commission website. I have also worked on sustainability and climate change policy, attending several UNFCCC meetings on behalf of the agricultural industry.
A dual British Belgian national with Brazilian and Italian routes I am an English native speaker and fluent in French. I hold degrees in Physics and Science Communication from Imperial College London.
I have organised several events and panels behind the scenes, including crafting speaking notes for panellists and instructions for moderators. In 2024 I had the opportunity to translate my experience to the stage and to moderate a panel on diversity, equity and inclusion in the nonwovens industry at a conference, and would like to do more moderation. As a former video journalist I'm used to interviewing people and making them comfortable in front of a camera and these skillsets translate themselves onto stage also, encouraging panellists to share and have a positive dynamic debate.
