Gabriela Keseberg Dávalos is Head of Communications of Southern Voice, a network of think tanks from the Global South. She is also columnist on international politics.
Prior she was senior foreign policy advisor to Alexander Graf Lambsdorff, Vice-President of the European Parliament (EP) for Human Rights and Democracy, in Brussels. She monitored and analyzed political developments in Turkey, Russia and Ukraine, as well as human rights related developments in Europe’s eastern and southern neighbourhood countries. Other topics were EU and German foreign & security policy and democracy support.
Before working at the EP Gabriela Keseberg Dávalos was Senior Communications Officer at the International Crisis Group. Her articles and podcasts on international conflicts and human rights issues have been published in outlets like: Die Zeit, Foreign Policy in Spanish and the Washington Post. She was also co-founder and board member of the International Young Women Partnership, a volunteer network to further women’s careers.
Before joining Crisis Group, Gabriela worked as a journalist for ZDF German public television. She studied political science and journalism in Germany and Denmark. Keseberg Dávalos is a UNAOC Fellow 2012, Marshall Memorial Fellow 2014 and Manfred Wörner Seminar Fellow 2015.
