Giulia Grandin is the Gender Equality and Inclusion Officer, Project Manager and Researcher at The Lisbon Council. She is responsible for leading the organisation's Gender Equality Plan and acts as the main point of contact for all DE&I matters.
An EU policy specialist, Giulia produces high-impact policy analysis and manages EU-funded projects (e.g. Horizon). She specialises in social policy, the digital agenda, AI and has particular expertise in the gender implications of AI and children's online safety.
She brings a unique, multi-sectoral perspective gained from her time at the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), where she managed stakeholder relations and supported key publications, and at Moody's Corporation, where she served as an Inclusion Associate for EMEA and APAC, coordinating high-level DE&I events. She also has experience in legislative monitoring and policy reporting from the Italian government and its EU representation.
A highly skilled organiser and writer, she holds a Specialisation Master's degree in Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (Fondazione Brodolini, 2025). She is fluent in Italian, English, French and Spanish.
