FundaGacal is HEAL’s consultant on Energy and Health in Turkey. Funda works on international energy policies with climate change, energy financement and public health focus.
She holds a BSc in Urban and Regional Planning from Istanbul Technical University. Her interests are environmental justice, energy policies, international climate change regime and public health.
Funda worked on energy, climate and environment policies in various non-profit organizations and consultancy firms at international level. Funda is the co-author of "Low Carbon Development Pathways and Priorities for Turkey”, “Turkey’s Renewable Power” and “Civil Society and Climate Change” research reports where she focused on energy financement, low carbon development, external costs and climate change effects.
