Florence Ferrando is highly experiment consultant and is a highly experienced consultant and project manager specialising in security, defence and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on developing strategic roadmaps, recommendations, and guidelines on issues such as cybersecurity and defence innovation, She manages a broad portfolio of projects and multi-stakeholder initiatives for governments, the private sector and international institutions, including the European Defence Fund, the EDA and European Commission funded-projects as well as NATO-funded activities. She is a member of the Younger Generation Leaders Network on Euro-Atlantic Security, has served on the Steering Committee of Women in International Security (WIIS Brussels) where she created and managed the podcast channel WIIS Brussels Voices, and is the co-creator and producer of the Women Leaders podcast. She holds two Masters degrees alongside extensive hands-on experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring successful project delivery.
