A journalist and author, I have been an EU correspondant for the French financial newspaper L’Agefi from 2005 to 2017, a columnist for La Tribune from 2008 until 2017, and Le Télégramme (from 2005).
A second edition of my biography of the German chancelor "Angela Merkel, Une Allemagne presque comme les autres" has been published in 2017 (Tallandier Texto). Other works include a fiction for the daily newspaper Le Monde : "Terminus pour l'euro", republished as "Europsychose" (Michel Lafon, 2012), « L’Amérique à Bruxelles » (Le Seuil, 2006) which highlights the influence of the US on European integration, and a pamphlet : « Sarkozy à Bruxelles » (Le Seuil, 2008).
I begun my professional life as a commercial attaché at the French embassy in the Federal Republic of Germany (at the time, in Bonn) and later spent two years at the cabinet of the French Minister for Research, Claudie Haigneré, focusing on French-German cooperation.
A regular contributor to the Austrian public television (ORF) former program "Inside Brussels", I participate occasionnally to "La Faute à l'Europe" (France Info), a talk show on EU politics.
