Fien De Baere is Search’s European Affairs and Partnerships Programme Associate. Fien coordinates Search’s engagement with the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Belgium. She has experience coordinating large EU service contracts including FWC SIEA and PRISM, and coordinates Search’s involvement in the Conflict Stability and Security Fund of Her Majesty’s Government. As the Children and Youth focal point for Europe she was instrumental in organising the Regional Consultation on Youth, Peace and Security in September 2017 and the EU Conference on Youth, Peace and Security in May 2018. Fien holds a MSc from the University of Ghent in International Politics and BAs from Artevelde College in Journalism.
