Famke is expert on trade and sustainability in global value chains.
She is a founding member of HIVE; a Brussels-based non-profit advising business, society, and govt institutions on responsible business conduct, ESG and global trade. Focus on EU and emerging markets (Africa, SE Asia, Central Asia, China).
She previously worked as Business and Trade Policy adviser with UN/International trade centre (ITC), as well as Netherlands trade delegate to WTO and EU, and Deloitte Belgium. As independent consultant she conducted assignments for UNDP, WTO, ADB, DFID, WB, GIZ, European Commission (DG Trade, DG Taxud, DG Devco).

Key expertise: OECD DDG and RBC, EU Mandatory Due Diligence legislative initiative, UNGP, EU regulation on Conflict Minerals.
