MAKING CIRCULAR ECONOMY CONRETE

Evy Puelinckx studied at Sint Lucas in Brussels, Belgium and in Port Elizabeth, South-Africa. She obtained a Masters degree in Architecture in 1999. After her studies, Evy worked for several major international architectural offices in The Netherlands and Belgium.
Between 2002 and 2009, Evy combined her projects with a lecturer position at the University of Sint Lucas in Brussels. In 2004, she starts making her own tv-formats about sustainability and design at VRT, VT4, VTM, Libelle TV and JIMTV. At TVBrussel she becomes Head of Culture. In 2007, Evy founds the community “HetVindingrijk”, an online platform to inform and inspire and bring people together around Upcycling. In 2013, Evy Puelinckx is nominated “Minister of Upcycling”, a recognition for her fascinating carreer path as an architect, designer, lecturer and circular economy expert.
Today Evy lectures 'Design and circular economy' at the university of Antwerp and offers her knowledge to companies and organisations. Evy Puelinckx Upcycling Consultancy gives companies the expertise to put circular economy into practice. Companies are guided through the whole process from scanning opportunities to the realisation of a product or event, creating tangible added value for communication and marketing purposes.
