Eva Maydell´s priorities focus on the use of innovation and technologies and supporting entrepreneurs and investments in Europe. She is a member of the industry and energy committee (ITRE) and the economic committee (ECON). She is a member of the Delegations for relations with the U.S. and Japan. Eva is among the most active members of the EP. In 2020, she will be the EPP rapporteur on the New European Data Strategy.
Eva is a member of the WEF Global Future Council of Europe and a Board Member of WEF’s Digital Europe. She is also President of the largest organisation of associations and civil societies in Europe: European Movement International. Eva is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Friends of Europe, coordinator of the EPP Young Members Network, VP of SME Europe and co-founder of Education Bulgaria 2030.
Eva’s work and impact has been recognised within prestigious and professional rankings: The Financial Times’ “New Europe 100,” Forbes “30 under 30,” and POLITICO’s list of the “the most eye-catching 28 people from 28 countries who are shaping, shaking and stirring Europe". She was awarded the MEP of the Year Award twice.
